Rob Allan
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Rob grew up helping his parents renovate rental properties and cottages. After graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in business, Rob worked at several large companies in a variety of high-level business development roles including sales, marketing, finance and operations. Throughout his business career, he always made time for what he loved — his construction projects. Finally, in 2003 Rob turned his passion into a career and started his first construction company with a friend, where he was involved in both construction and client relations. Rob has since been involved with over 300 custom residential projects of all shapes and sizes. Rob takes pride in his company’s work and truly enjoys working with clients from the very beginning and beyond, nurturing positive relationships with clients years after they have moved into their homes.
Rob is “the essential detail guy.” He uses his years of experience as an athlete and business leader on a daily basis. “My experience working for different corporations gave me the appetite to go out and work for myself. I like to over-deliver and that applies to meeting clients’ expectations”. Rob is focused on managing all aspects of the company and construction projects as well as generating new business and spending time getting to know the clients and their needs. “My favourite part of the job is meeting new clients and helping them create their dream property. I am happy when my client is happy.”
When Rob isn’t in the office or job site communicating with clients, employees and contractors, he spends time with his two kids, his wife Casey, and stays active with skiing and hockey.
Rob Tallis
Rob is a native of Toronto who splits his time between Toronto and Collingwood. Rob has been involved in the construction business since he was a teenager. Having started as a summer labourer through high school and university, Rob leveraged those learnings later in life buying, renovating and flipping houses.
With an undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from Schulich School of Business (York University), Rob’s career path has always been guided by passion and a desire to learn and deliver. Rob built a career in sales and marketing with major CPG companies including P&G, Labatt, Con Agra Foods, leading brands and driving innovation. Yet Rob remained a builder at heart continuing to buy, renovate, rebuild and flip homes.
Rob leveraged his skills, education experience and passion when he became the VP Sales, Marketing and Construction with Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities and followed that as VP Development with Skyline Investments. Here Rob led teams focussed not only on attracting customers but delivering on the promises made to those customers, building hundreds of homes, leading condominium projects. Rob takes pride in delivering on customer expectations of quality workmanship delivered on time and on budget.
Rob joined RBA in 2020 with the opportunity to once again get directly connected with clients and work in the field with trade while leading the strategic development of the business and brand and contributing the growth and success of RBA.
Rob spends his other time with his partner Allison, his two kids and stays active skiing, golfing and mountain biking.
