Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Rob’s journey into the world of construction and entrepreneurship began at a young age. Growing up, he eagerly assisted his parents with renovating their rental properties, honing his skills and passion for building. His summers spent working in Muskoka further fueled his love for craftsmanship and the outdoors.

After graduating high school, Rob secured a Division 1 scholarship to Indiana University before transferring back to Canada to pursue his studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. Armed with a solid education, he embarked on a dynamic career path that saw him excel in various high-level business development roles across sales, marketing, finance, and operations within several prominent companies.

Despite his demanding corporate endeavors, Rob always found time to indulge in his true passion—construction projects. In 2003, he seized the opportunity to turn his lifelong love into a full-fledged career by co-founding his first construction company. In this venture, Rob not only showcased his expertise in construction but also demonstrated his acumen in managing the business aspects, marking the beginning of a successful entrepreneurial journey.

Throughout his career, Rob has lent his expertise to over 300 custom residential projects of diverse scopes and complexities. His commitment to excellence and client satisfaction has been unwavering, as evidenced by his hands-on approach from project inception to completion. Rob takes immense pride in his company’s work, fostering enduring relationships with clients that extend well beyond the completion of their homes.

Outside the realms of construction, Rob finds joy and balance in spending quality time with his cherished family—his two kids and his wife, Casey. An avid enthusiast of the great outdoors, he actively engages in alpine skiing, travel escapades, cottage retreats, bicycling adventures, and spirited games of hockey.

Driven by his passion for construction and fueled by his dedication to client satisfaction, Rob continues to leave an indelible mark in the industry, embodying the essence of craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit in all his endeavors.

Ryan’s affinity for cottage country blossomed from his early years spent on Kawagama Lake in Dorset, Ontario, where his grandmother owned a cherished cottage. Growing up, summers and holidays were synonymous with lake life, as they created lasting memories when his parents purchased the family retreat in Baysville, Ontario, on Dickie Lake. For Ryan, and many others, the cottage wasn’t just a getaway—it felt like home.

It was at this lakeside haven that Ryan forged a lifelong friendship with Rob, his eventual business partner. Their cottages’ next-door proximity fostered a unique bond that persists today. This tradition continued as they acquired neighboring cottages as adults, ensuring their children grew up alongside each other.

Ryan graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, where he played on the varsity rugby team. During this time, he delved into the construction industry. His summers were spent honing his skills in general construction, specializing in dock building and masonry projects.

Before co-founding RBA Projects North, Ryan gained invaluable experience as a president and partner in a different company. These formative years underscored the significance of customer relationships, teamwork, and unwavering dedication to client satisfaction—the cornerstones of RBA Projects North’s culture.

Beyond work, Ryan treasures time with his family. His wife Colleen is his true partner, and his two sons bring him endless joy. Ryan has a passion for sports, exercise, and the great outdoors, indulging in activities like mountain biking, CrossFit, skiing, and hiking with their beloved dogs.

Ryan understands the weight of entrusting a contractor with one’s dream project and approaches each endeavor with profound respect for his clients’ vision. Witnessing the joy on satisfied clients’ faces at project completion validates the relentless effort invested by him and his team.
